BAI Community CovenantOur Commitment to YouThe synagogue leadership of BAI, made up of congregant volunteers, makes a commitment to you to operate our synagogue within its financial means and in a responsible and transparent way. Our staff and clergy pledge to do their utmost to support you and our community in keeping with our core mission, vision, and values. Our Community’s Shared CommitmentOur congregants make a commitment, one to another, to support each other in our Jewish journey together. We make progress together in an open, respectful and diverse environment through all of life’s ups and downs.Your Commitment to Beth Am IsraelThe synagogue can only thrive if each of us honors the commitments we’ve made, on the promised schedule. You agree to pay the financial commitment you’ve made on the schedule you have chosen, so that BAI can meet its financial obligations. Household Information
Sustainable Financial CommitmentOperating Beth Am Israel annually costs approximately $3,600 per household. It is important that each of us strive to commit to $3,600, and, if unable to do so, that each of us stretch to come as close as possible to the sustainable amount as our individual financial circumstances will allow. We ask those of you who are able to pledge at or above the sustainable level, please do so. We maintain our steadfast commitment that financial constraints do not prevent any person from belonging to our Beth Am community. Each person’s contribution is deeply valued and appreciated.My/Our Financial Commitment, Fiscal Year July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026With our Sustainable Commitment model, each household commits to sustaining Beth Am Israel financially to the fullest extent that they are able.
Our model means that you do not need to call us to discuss your commitment amount. We accept the figure you commit to. But if you would like to discuss your personal financial commitment, or if you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to contact Laura Roeder at 610-986-7887 or accounting@bethamisrael.org, or Donald Erlichman at donalderlichman@gmail.com before June 30, or Judy Wortman at judywortman@gmail.com after June 30.
*We ask that a minimum of 20% of your pledged Commitment be paid by September 15, 2025 to receive your High Holy Days tickets
